Jordan Ash Esq.
Jordan Ash found an early appreciation for cannabis while growing up in Marin County, California – the birthplace of “420” and less than an hour south of the Emerald Triangle.
After graduating UC Berkeley in 2015, Jordan saw that pursuing a law career would provide the perfect opportunity to meaningfully contribute back to cannabis.
In 2017, he began attendance at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law in Malibu, California, whereupon he was one of the very first in a new generation of California cannabis attorneys.
Jordan began his formal legal practice as a law clerk in the industry-esteemed Shevin Law Group. He then supplemented this legal experience by inserting himself directly into the legal cannabis supply chain as an administrator of a distribution company, as well as a brand ambassador for different cannabis companies, all while still a fulltime law student.
During this time, Jordan also founded an educational series called CLIPS (Cannabis Law Issues & Policies Symposiums) to help fill the gaps in educational and networking resources for practicing and promising cannabis professionals.
He graduated law school in 2020, and soon after that passed the California Bar exam. However even before passing the Bar, Jordan had been using his industry-experience, education, and credentials as a consultant applying multi-level and comprehensive legal, business, and brand services for licensed cannabis and hemp operators.
In May of 2021, Jordan was able to bring his varied experiences and skills in his current role as Chief Legal Officer for the exciting new cannabis startup: Neptune Cannabis Company. A true cannabis and industry enthusiast, Jordan spends his free time following legal cannabis brands, products, and services, as well as researching various cannabis-related topics for articles published online.
